TransFRESH Centralizes South Africa Operations

Salinas, CA, July 13, 2004—TransFRESH Corporation the leading provider of atmosphere services announced today they would continue to centralize their corporate administrative activities in Salinas, California.

“Our European operations as well as our Kenyan operations are currently managed from California and it makes sense to bring all our international operations into our corporate headquarters, " said Teresa Scattini, Director of Marine Services for TransFRESH. According to Arthur Kemp, general manager for TransFRESH Africa, the Cape Town office will remain open and he will continue to focus on the expanding TransFRESH business in the African and Eastern Mediterranean regions. “The administrative changes will be transparent to the customer and they will see very little change with the new arrangement,” said Kemp.

TransFRESH Corporation provides it’s modified and controlled atmosphere services to shipping and leasing companies around the world. Over 500,000 tons of chilled perishables each year are protected and kept fresh by one of TransFRESH’s Tectrol Atmosphere systems. “Global exporters and importers have incorporated our system into their shipping process because they have realized the benefits of our expertise and product knowledge,” said Scattini.
