How do the TransFRESH TECTROLŠ systems work?
Beneficial atmosphere set points are reached for the specific commodity being serviced by injecting nitrogen and/or CO2 as soon as possible after the cargo is stowed. There are two distinct services offered. Modified Atmosphere service is offered for shorter transits between 5-12 days. Controlled Atmosphere service is used for more sensitive cargo and for longer voyage times. For the Controlled Atmosphere system a microprocessor/controller is used to monitor and adjust the atmosphere based on specific beneficial set points established for the commodity being serviced. Controlled Atmosphere service requires the use of a controller, supplied by TransFRESH, that manages the atmosphere using specific set points. The controller is constantly monitoring oxygen and CO2 concentrations and maintaining them at the desired levels. Click Here to view a presentation on how TransFRESH Marine Services work.
